The practice of Kundalini yoga is to activate your energy or shakti. As Kundalini awakens your energy, it removes your ego and allows awareness. Ok let’s keep it real …life is full of twists and turns. Most that are found off our yoga mat. The key is to embrace the twist on the mat. Rather you are working from home or sitting in traffic. Our bodies can get stagnant energy. Tightness in our hips, low backaches, and sciatic pain have been accelerating thru the pandemic. Taking a moment to humble our hearts with a series of backbend poses. We not only strengthen our back but release tension in areas we tend to hold most of our day-to-day stress in. How often do you know what your body needs but you just don't do it!? Maybe it’s not grabbing that extra cup of coffee, drinking more water, or getting more sleep. Throat Chakra Flow 1 (43 MIN)

Pause for a moment and ask yourself ‘how have I been communicating?” If you have noticed you have had a hard time communicating, speaking your truth, or feeling stressed in your communication this is how you know your throat chakra is unbalanced. Connecting to our throat chakra allows us to be active listeners, effective communicators and express ourselves fully. Enjoy a flow that balances your throat chakra. Recommended Props: 2 blocks

Why do you always feel better after your yoga class though it can take everything in you to make it to your mat? That sweet spot after class is called Samadhi or BLISS. The connection of breath and movement releases stagnant energy, clears your mind of future/past thinking, and lets you be in the moment on your mat. A full body flow works each area of the body to tap deeper within yourself.
